Today we are going to talk about a personality who is legend in himself. He is Babbu maan, (original mama Tajinder Singh maan), his fans with love and respect named him as Ustaad G. He is trend setter in himself and changes the way of singing and music. He is multi-talented personality. He is singer, music director, writer, producer, a social activist. He helped the poor farmers and families but didn't claimed any thing to get fame.

His journey :-

Babbu maan started his career of singing by taking parts in singing in his school first time. His first album was released in 1997. But he was not happy with this album and it got released but not officially. But his first official album was " Tu Meri Miss India " which was released in 1999. The album was a massive hit.

 But he got fame from his second album " Sajjan rumaal de guys " make him star. Some song from his album  " Sajjan rumaal de giya " were just a hit that the songs were on the lips of people. He then never look behind he gives hits after hits like " Saun di jhadi, ohhi chann ohhi raatan, Pyass, Mera gham, Singh better than king, Taalash, and still giving hits.

Movies :-

Not only singing he got massive response but in movies he did tremendous work. His first movie was Hawayein in which he debut as supporting role and attracts the audience. His first movie as main lead was Rabb ne bnayiyan jodiyan, but due to some dissatisfied scene movie was dislike by some people. But third movie of babbu ma'am was a massive hit and made people fall in love with him.

That movie name was Hashar (a love story) . It's record has not been broken still now by any actor in Punjabi industry. He make a movie in which farmer's condition was illustrated, was loved by all Ekam. After period of 4 years he set a another record of single day collection by movie Banjara. 

His upcoming movie will also lend people to break the record.

His family :-

He was born to Babu Singh Maan and Kulbir Kaur. He has 2 elder sisters named Rupie and Jassi. He is married to Harmandeep Kaur Mann.

Maan was raised in Khant Maanpur in the Fatehgarh Sahib district of Punjab, India.

Maan's main target audience is the Punjabi-speaking population of the world. Since 1999, he has released eight studio albums and six compilation albums; has written screenplays for, acted in and produced Punjabi films; and has contributed significantly to regional and bollywood film soundtracks. Maan is the ambassador for One Hope, One Chance , a non-profit organisation based out of Punjab
